Staff Availability tells Care Diary when someone can work — and when they cannot. Until availability is set, every day is treated as available all day.
You can record Available periods (times you can work) and Unavailable periods (times you cannot). Recurring patterns help you set the same hours across many days.
Who uses it
Support workers manage their own hours in the Care Diary app under Settings → My Availability.
Administrators with Staff Availability permission can view and edit availability on a staff profile on the website, and see unavailability while planning the roster.
How it works
Open My Availability (app) or the staff Availability tab (website).
Add Available or Unavailable time for a date.
Optionally turn on Repeat for daily or weekly patterns.
Save. Roster planning can show when someone is unavailable.
