The Care Diary app helps support workers manage shifts, complete onboarding, update availability, and stay up to date with notifications. This guide covers the basics for your first days using the app.

  1. Open the Care Diary app.

  2. Enter your Email address and Password.

  3. Select Log in.

If you work with more than one organisation, you may see Choose a company. Select your company, then Continue.

If your organisation uses two-factor authentication, enter the verification code from your email, then select Verify.

Forgot your password? Select Forgot Password?, enter your email, and select Send reset link.

Find your way around

After you log in, the main tabs are:

  • Home — Welcome message, today’s and upcoming shifts, and useful banners

  • Reports — Participant reports and timelines available to you

  • Shifts — Your rostered shifts and open shifts

  • Settings — Profile, availability, documents and account options

On Home, you may see Today and Upcoming shifts, with View All to open the Shifts tab.

View your shifts

  1. Select the Shifts tab.

  2. Use My Shifts to see shifts assigned to you.

  3. Open a shift to view Shift Details.

  4. Use Clock In and Clock Out when your organisation uses clocking on the app.

On some days you may also see Open Shifts. You can open an open shift and use Pick Up Shift or Request Shift, depending on how your organisation runs open shifts.

For more detail, see My Shifts.
