Understanding Participant Schedule

Appointments, activities, shifts and who uses the schedule

Written by Gaurav

Participant Schedule helps your organisation plan and follow what a participant has coming up: Appointments, Activities, and related roster Shifts.

This is different from Staff Availability, which records when workers can work.

What appears on the schedule

  • Appointment — for example medical or other appointments for the participant

  • Activity — community or other activities

  • Shifts — published roster shifts shown on the web calendar for coverage context

Event statuses include Scheduled, Completed, and Cancelled.

Who uses it

  • Administrators and coordinators with Edit Participant permission plan events on the website Schedule tab.

  • Support workers view upcoming events in the Care Diary app and can mark some events completed during an active shift.
