How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication

Two-factor authentication provides additional security for your Care Diary account. Once enabled, users must enter a six-digit verification code sent to their registered email address when logging in.

  1. Log in to the Care Diary web portal.

  2. Select Settings from the left-hand menu.

  3. Search for and select Company Profile.

  4. Scroll down to Enable Two-Factor Authentication and select the toggle to turn on two-factor authentication.

  5. Select Save in the top-right corner to apply the change.

  6. Once two-factor authentication is enabled, users logging into the Care Diary mobile app will receive a six-digit verification code at their registered email address.

  7. Enter the six-digit code and select Verify to complete the login.

  8. If the code is not received, check the email address associated with the Care Diary account, including the junk or spam folder. Once the countdown finishes, select Resend to request another code.

Important: Do not share your verification code with anyone. Always ensure your email address in Care Diary is correct and accessible before two-factor authentication is enabled.
